E.V.A Charity Foundation
MMQ, a multi-cultural non-profit arts for charity organization, recently turned over the proceeds of its recently concluded theatre salon series to the EVA Charity Foundation whose advocacy assists indigenous peoples in Region 3 with the creation of schools, scholarships and micro-financing.

MMQ also donated the MMQ AETA Primary school in Mt. Terranus, Bayan-Bayanan in Bataan, EVA's 40th school for
its 20th year anniversary. The succeeding donation ensures the school continued operations with school supplies, teachers salaries and maintenance.

To further support the school, MMQ has chosen EVACF once again as one of the beneficiaries of its upcoming 5th Annual Le Cabaret Gala at Sofitel on 17 September.
Now on its fifth year, Le Cabaret brings a fabulous night where guests will enjoy free flowing champagne, surprises, a three-course French dinner and a burlesque-cabaret show headlined by Filipino and Expat artists.

Visit www.evacf.org and www.mmqtheatre.com for more information on how to volunteer and support their events.

SAGIP
December 1, 2010. Members of the Boards of both MMQ & Sagip, as well as Sagip staff & MMQ sponsors from Fridays Resorts Boracay joined together to celebrate the donation by MMQ of a 1/2 million (500,000) pesos to Sagip from MMQ’s 4th Annual Le Cirque du Cabaret Gala to further their very worthwhile endeavors & provide seed money to help build a new improved facility in 2011 for the Foundation. The celebration was joined by some of the women and children they help. What better way is there to begin the New Year? After all, MMQ creates FUN and memorable events and THET for Charity's Sake. Bravo Sagip for providing a safe haven for the Philippines’ disadvantaged women and children!

MMQ would like to thank ALL our sponsors (like PAGCOR, Amanpolo, Etihad, Boracay Regency, El Nido, Sagatempo, and, of course, Fridays Boracay) and their friends and audiences.

Dinalupihan, Bataan, November 2010
If someone would have said back in January 2010, that by OCTOBER we would hike/climb a mountain and ride horseback, I would have told them "You must be kidding!" Here we were, however, full of adventurous spirit and dedication to something so wonderful, words simply can't express how our MMQ Crew--Sandra, Mari, & I--feel. ALL of our group had quite a day! Imagine trekking through heavy forest and in a clearing near the top of the mountain you hear laughter and see children playing in front of what looks like a tiny building with a big sign saying "MMQ AETA SCHOOL." Not only did we meet the children but a man who seemed to be their humble teacher too. We were entertained with speeches; were greeted by the powers in the region (including the military, no doubt!); danced the evil sprits away (not that there could have been many with so much child-like possibility in evidence!); and feasted on local delicacies made by the parents themselves. What a delight and truly memorable experience. MMQ is honored to be a part of enlightenment and liberty for the future of these and all the children of the Philippines. After all, MMQ is ART and THEATRE for the Children, FUN for CHARITY'S SAKE! -- Read more.
