As background, MMQ donated 230,000 pesos 2 years ago to the EVA Foundation to have the school built with proceeds from MMQ's 2nd Annual Le Cabaret Gala. Because of bureaucracy and Typhoon Ondoy, however, building was delayed. The materials, some of the labor, and supplies are furnished through MMQ. Community members helped build the 2-room schoolhouse themselves.
We just want to say THANK YOU to ALL the people we met for making this adventure a REAL lifetime memory, not to be forgotten EVER. We look forward to our next visit!
